Client: Sona Papers Brand: Neenah (USA)

The Challenge
When Sona Papers, Neenah’s exclusive partner in India, planned the launch of this iconic 150-year-old American brand, they knew exactly who to trust with the swatch design.
There was no brief. No references. No doubt.
Just one belief: that we could do justice to a global name - right here in Kolkata.

The Idea
We didn’t want it to look “designed in India.”
We wanted it to look designed for the world.
So we built the entire swatch around Neenah’s global positioning theme - balance. Balance between textures and tones. Between structure and expression.
Between print techniques and pure storytelling.

The Magic
Minimal design. Maximal finesse.
Embossing, foils, silk screen textures, layering - executed with precision.
Every spread balanced design and purpose, East and West, restraint and richness.
The paper didn’t just look good. It made people feel something.

The Result
The swatch was so refined that even Neenah’s U.S. team assumed it had been crafted by their internal design studio. Sona had to clarify - with some pride - that it was conceived, crafted and completed in India. In Kolkata. The swatch didn’t just honour Neenah’s legacy. It elevated it - on Indian soil, with Indian creativity.
